Can we promote? You betcha!
Zone Cribbage and some other classic games are closing. We can and should be going after those referrals.
I am posting here to ask you to please promote respectfully.
Use your link, found on the main page under "Refer a Friend" if you want to do so. Promote in the lobbies
on the messenger but please be respectful when doing so.
Going to players tables with promotion is not likely to be any benefit at all and can be negative promotion for both you and for GameColony. Some of these players have played at the Zone for years. Please let them
finish their tenure there in peace and with a good feeling about US.
I respectfully request that you do not spam with your promotion and that you do not promote at players
tables.

Hi,
I'm new here and yes, I've been playing on zone for quite some time. I was searching the net for another cribbage site and just happened across game colony.
I will miss zone cribbage but I'm looking forward to playing cribbage here! I would have loved to see a post about this site on Zone it would have made my searching a lot easier! LOL of course I agree please be respectful of zone when mentioning game colony.

A close friend of mine from church played on Zone and is extremely upset about the whole cribbage thing too.......I hope we can make your transition happy and comfortable - if you need ANYTHING look me up - I host mostly in cribbage, and you can send me a note from one of my tourney pages  Glad to have you hon

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
