Some Mates + Me Have Argued Who Is Best Player Here. What Do You Think.

At the lightning game (1/0) I would suggest Mr Aleman...of course others may add to this.

the best....

1/0 games:
__pitbull__ had a rating of 3030,never lost a game ; until a couple of weaks ago , now he is losing regulary and has a rating of ... 2100 (something like that i think). why such a difference?
although , mr_aleman is the best to my opinion; wins most of his games , no one can beat him more than 5 times in 10 games.

for the longer games... i cant say who. FritzBlitz, BelfastBishop , UK_GM , GM_Mickey, ... maybe their rating as GM (not those of GC but their "official" rating ; or how do i need to say that...) can make something clear.
srr for bad english bye the way...

I have played crossboard against GM's and in the 1988 world Junior with players including Ivanchuk,Gelfand,Lautier,Polgarx3, etc. and have beaten IMs. So in my day have known what strong players are . . . . . . As for my GC experiences, Belfast Bishop has just blown me away on several occassions like nobody else.

He gets my votes hands down !!

erratum . . .

Woops 1988 World Junior also had Michael "Micky" Adams in it.

Oh and for my stongest win in blitz . . . Kiril Gorgiev (Bulgaria) when he was circa 2700.

Indeed...

Well I have played lightning games for a while now. So hope to be pretty much the best, but there are many strong challengers. Without a doubt Belfast Bishop is the best player here...

Thank you very much :)

I dont think i dominate 1/0 games

There are players who can comepete with me such as Sheriftifoma and Casenevua. Seems to be pretty even. Often have closeish games against players such as IMOO, just they are too slow! If your connection is that way cant be helped

I think "Tuku" & "Fritz Blitz" are the best players i did meet here in game colony.
Tuku was almost an GM.

Best players.

I have beaten everyone here at least once.
In games that differed from 10 minutes down to 1min.
I am weak at 1 min games, because my connection not as good as other players'. So I play 2 min games.
Only one player I cannot beat. Rapidchess.
In 1 min games I cannot win.
My vote will go for Rapidchess.

3030
Posted by __pitbull___ (VIP) 2 Oct 2006 5:02pm

In response to dammerke's questions, I would like to say that being a 3030 rating is now fun. When I was at 3030 my rating would no longer be affected If i beat anyone. I could beat someone that was 2500 and my rating wouldnt go up anymore. So I purposly lost alot of games to get back down to a rating where I can take some points from other people if i beat them.

Do I have potential

My Apologies

My apologies,
to anyone I may have "cussed out" on this site. I am LOUSY at the game but I love playing it. There are just "some" I get frustrated with because of their "score tactics". I do apologize, repent and ask your forgivness if I have been out of line and offended anyone. Please forgive me. And I will try to be more self controled and sportsman-like.
Sincerely,
london70

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
