I'd try it if gamecolony does it. I think single elimination would be more feasible.
GameColony is a skill games site

Although poker is one of the easiest games to implement, at this time, poker is not among planned games for this site as it has not yet been legally proven as a game where skill factor predominates.
Per legal requirements for this US-based site, all games need to have a predominant skill content.
In his 2006 interview with Inside Edge magazine, John Hainline, a famous Gin Rummy player who loves poker, said that poker can't compare with the challenge of Gin. "Gin game depends far less on luck than poker does", says Hainline: "There are a lot of poker players who are also Gin players. They go back and forth between two games and they all agree that Gin is a better game".

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
