How to Make Money as a Backgammon Affiliate
GameColony has a unique affiliate program that is also called a 'revenue sharing program'. This program pays very well for many affiliates - those who recommend players to GameColony backgammon and any of the 20 GameColony's 20 games (Gin, Dominoes, Cribbage, etc.).
When an affiliate recommends a player who becomes a money player to GameColony.com, he/she earns the RECURRING commissions -- 20% recurring referral fees.
Suppose an affiliate recommends a player & that player signs up and starts playing in any of GameColony's fee-based Tournaments or mini-tourneys. Then 20% of per-game profit that directly resulted from the referred player's participation, would go directly into an affiliate's account.

You can become a recommender at GameColony.com and get properly credited for those you recommended. First, affiliates would have to sign up as regular players -- free players is OK.
Here's the easiest way to start earning recommender fees:
Let's suppose that you signed up and registered at GameColony.com (confirmed your email via Manage Account!) as a regular player with the nickname like: earn_money33.
Then, you can use the link

This referral link can become like a magic wand that will make sure that you get proper credit for recommending players who first got to play at GameColony.com via your link.
You can put that referral link (with some other promotional words, etc.) either in email to friends or leave this link with some marketing lingo in blogs or forums or some other high-traffic places anywhere on the Internet. Or, if you have a web site, put that affiliate right there visibly on your web site.
Give it some time & the recommended players will get comfortable enough to play at first for free and then for money. From your Manage Account area, you'd see a whole lot of information (except for private stuff) on everybody you recommended and who and when they played and for how much and who won and what the total commission was and what your 20% share of it was. The recommender fees should start coming in!

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
