How to Make Money as a Cribbage Affiliate
GameColony has a unique affiliate program that is also called a 'revenue sharing program'. This program pays quite well for many affiliates - the players who recommend other players to GameColony's Cribbage and any of GameColony's 20 games (Backgammon, Dominoes, Gin Rummy, solitaire, pyramids, mahjong, etc.).
When an affiliate recommends someone who later becomes a money player at GameColony.com, that affiliate earns the RECURRING commissions -- 20% recurring referral fees from EVERY $Ticket game that the recommended player plays..
Suppose an affiliate recommends a player who signs up, registers and later starts playing in any of GameColony's fee-based Tournaments or mini-tourneys. Then 20% of per-game profit that directly resulted from the referred player's participation, would go directly into an affiliate's account.
If that recommended player was an active money player who kept playing for a while - let's say for more than a year, you can easily see that the affiliate's account can grow quite big. Especially with multiple recommended players!
Affiliates can cash money from their accounts with no cash-out fee to PayPal or NETeller. PayPal is, at this time, the biggest of all of the Internet banking systems. (PayPal is now owned by EBay and has over 70 million users worldwide). Both PayPal and NETeller internet banking systems accept credit cards and many other payment instruments.
Here's how you can become a recommender --affiliate at GameColony.com and start earning commissions from your referrals
You can become a recommender at GameColony.com and get properly credited for those you recommended. First, affiliates would have to sign up as regular players -- free players is OK too.
Here's the easy way to start earning recommender fees (commissions): Let's suppose that you signed up and registered at GameColony.com (confirmed your email via Manage Account!) as a regular player with the nickname like: make_money43.
Then, you can use the link
http://www.gamecolony.com/?pal=make_money43
This referral link can become like a magic wand that will make sure that you get properly credited for recommending new players who first started playing at GameColony.com via your link.
You can put that referral link along with some other promotional words either in email to friends or leave this link with some marketing come-ons in blogs or various internet forums or message boards or some other high-traffic places anywhere on the Internet.
Or, if you have a web site, put that affiliate right there visibly on your web site.
Give it some time and the recommended players will get comfortable enough to play for money. From your Manage Account area, you'd see a lot of various information (except for private stuff) on everybody you recommended and who and when they played and for how much and who won and what the total commission was and what your 20% share of it was. The recommender fees should start rolling in!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
