As a long time player and VIP, I want to throw this out to all players. PLEASE be more considerate about sending invites to players that are playing. Lately, I have been in the middle of a shot and the invite pops up. This is very annoying. If you want a game with someone, just send them a message. I was playing a mini tourney and the invite popped up. This could mean the difference between a win and a loss.
BOTTOM LINE: BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER PLAYERS PLAYING. THANK YOU!!!

.... and I would like to add that people would have that same consideration, when joining a table to "Watch"! If you are watching, fine, do it quietly, but if you are just lurking around for a game, or want to chat with either of the players, then please wait outside the game and request it!

I agree cheerstou, it can be very annoying and distracting and also can knock out the text between the two players. A bit of thought to those who are guilty would be nice. !!!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
