Ticket players' invites

Reminder for those Ticket players, if you set to play for tickets, non-ticket members can not sit and play you. It is futile to invite them, much as we would love to play you. Want to play us, then please set for no tickets (otherwise we can't play).

Non-Ticket Player Invites

Clicking the Invite Everyone tab is the easiest way to send out invites to many. We are not sending them out to specific individuals who are non-TIX members. Just ignore it. Or better yet, submit a suggestion through 'Contact Us' requesting a change to 'Invite Everyone' be limit the invite to only those who have TIX.

I prefer to play TIX only, yet I get inundated with Invites from NON-TIX players. I just ignore the invite.

I do not know any TIX players who selectively invite non-tix players; you get the invite as it is a function of the GC software when you press 'Select Everyone'. Presently there is no way around it, other than Invite one one at a time.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
