GC Bonus Tourneys are back!!

It's summer time and that means one thing - GC Bonus tourneys are back on the schedule. Starting July 5th, we will hold 1tix entry tourneys and the top 4 players will get GC Bonus tix - lots of them.  So, make sure to check the tourney schedules and meet us there. And, for only 1 tix, now is the time to try out a new game. Hope to see you all there.

Is that the top 4 players in EACH tourny? Or the top 4 after all tournys are done at end of summer?

Each tourney will pay the top 4 places in each individual game. Gin is 100 tix; bg, crib and dom are 50 tix; canasta and pool are 25 each. These amounts are divided among the top 4 places. Hope we see you there.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
