To all my favorite cribbers, and all the newbies here at Game Colony, I want to apologize for missing my 4 pm tourney today, Wednesday........I have been crazy with schedules this summer so I have tried to get into some sort of REGULAR schedule - I thought I had 2 pm and 5 pm tourneys this week. I must have messed up when creating today's, though, because the schedule showed it for 4 pm....
Unfortunately I didn't notice this until 4:30 when I got on to advertise for what I thought was a 5 pm tourney - I hope you will forgive me. I have promised admin, and I promise all of you as well, that I will be SUPER careful when I create my tourneys and double check schedules EVERY DAY just in case.......I'm so sorry, y'all. Please forgive me
Love,
Christy aka Utahma

honest mistake!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
