hello all just like to say very much like this site but it was very lucky i found it i like playin pool and most of other games was always lookin for pool games on internet search but never found gc only a friend told me if there was more advertisement we will get more players bigger prizes more competition i think i was lucky to find this site how did u all find game colony ? thank you all great site

I was also referred here by a friend i had made in a chat room. I am glad u like it here wigley, and hope u will stay and tell all your friends about the GC. I also agree about the advertising as well.

I'm supporting ur idea 100 %, GC needs to advertise more so we can have more players here, therefore, more opportunity to play for money in the big tourneys or in mini-tourneys, Ralf.

i found this game lucky on google search machine. i was looking for backgammon to play online,1 of the results was gamecolony

I found it by accident too.
Found it by running a search for cheese, but spelt it chess by mistake.
Thought I'd give it a go, but didn't last long when I found I couldn't play it.
Gave this a try and wasn't much better, but love the physics of the game, find it highly addictive,plays like no other online pool game i've tried.
So we definately need some ads bigging up the place !!!

Play pool tournaments online
At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
