FUNNY BUT VERY TRUE STORY ABOUT A 29 HAND

MANY YEARS AGO WHILE ON HOLIDAY CAMPING, I SAT AT A PICNIC TABLE PLAYING CRIB WITH MY DEAR FRIEND, RICH. MY HUSBAND, WAS IN THE LOO (OR JOHN AS SOME MAY CALL IT). AS I DEALT THE CARDS, A SLOW SMILE CAME ACROST RICH'S FACE. WHEN THE 4TH 5 WAS CUT, HE BURST INTO CRAZY LAUGHTER, CALLED THE GAME OFF AND REFUSED TO PLAY ANY FURTHER UNTIL SOMEONE (MY HUSBAND) SAW HIS HAND. GOD WHAT A WAIT HE PUT US THROUGH.

ONCE HE HAD PROOF THAT SOMEONE HAD SEEN IT, HE TOOK THE CARDS AND TACKED THEM UP IN HIS TRAILER ALONG WITH THE DATE, DEALT BY DRAGONLADY AND CAME BACK WITH A NEW DECK OF CARDS. THIS WAS A FIRST FOR HIM!!! I'M SURE THAT IF I WALKED INTO HIS TRAILER ON THIS VERY DAY, THOSE CARDS WOULD STILL BE THERE.

WELL, WE DID CONTINUE THE GAME AND, UNFORTUNATELY FOR RICH, HE DID HAVE TO GO BACK TO THOSE OH SO LUCKY CARDS AND ADD............

AND I STILL LOST!!!

HE SHOULD HAVE KEPT PLAYING WITH THE LUCKY CARDS, LOL!!!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
