Need some feedback from Canasta players. We know tourney times are dependent upon where u live but if CANASTA players can give approximate GC times they would like to see tournaments then please post here and TDs will see what they can do. Presently 9am tourneys are working well and previously 8pm seemed to draw attention. Your feedback would help. Maybe a 2 or 3 hour Block of GC time would let us know. TY

I am on for most of the GC AM and that is a better time for me. Usually not on, except once in a while, in the late afternoon or evenings.

I like the tourneys, but would also like to play tix games in the main room. I play other games also and have no trouble getting tix games so can't figure out why the canasta players apparently don't like them.

Hi,we that live in Europe don't get much chance to play tourney's because of the time diference,we are usually 5 hours in front of GC.So a tourney at say 4pm to GC is good for us as it is 9PM here.For me the best times seem to be 7am../..4pm../Gc time.

For us working people on a traditional day schedule--say from 8 to 5, I think tourney times at 8 pm and 10 pm work very well. At least they do for me. Thanks for letting the players have some input. BlueSun

I like 1 canasta tourneys and good times for me are 9 am, 2pm and 9pm GC time.
I try to play whenever I can. Thanks for a great gamesite

More players are playing tix games in Canasta then before so hopefully StopSign can get some games.

Play canasta tournaments online
At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
