Sharon Eligibility to the TOC tourneys Posted by 1okaylady (TD) 23 Aug 2006 1:46pm Anyone who won a tourney in any game room in the PREVIOUS month, is eligible to play in the TOC tourney in the following month,(in that game room) no matter how much the tourney cost. Example: if you won a tourney in July, you are eligible to play in the TOC in August...... so IF you win a tourney in August, you are eligible to play in the TOC in September (last weekend of the month). The lists are generated by game colony and retyped by me to post here. But I have been known to accidently leave out a name, SO if you feel you should be included, either post here or go to any prior tourney and click on my name and send me an email OR 1maokaylady@msn.com will get to me also...and I will double check and get back to you. So players, keep playing the tourneys. Anyone can win one and play the TOCs with your friends. These tourneys are NOT discriminate to anyone, just a priviledge to the prior month tourney winners...... I have won tourneys and cant participate because that is when I am sleeping. UK here IT'S HARD TO PLEASE EVERYONE, SOOOOO Posted by 1okaylady (TD) 30 Aug 2006 5:55pm Starting in OCTOBER, the winner of the TOC tourney is getting the chance to name the game settings and the date for the next month TOC. It is very difficult and almost impossible to please every player that wants to play in any tourney, much less the toc.....so please come support the tourneys and you too, could be choosing the next months tourney in toc. At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling".
