This happens to me everyday.....I join an open table, but no one seems to be there. People please....if u have to leave the pc, please close ur tables and quit wasting other peoples time ok? It's a simple thing to create another one when u actually plan to play.
Agreed

Totally agree Jeff.. Very annoying, as my computer isn't the quickest when getting onto a table, and when I get there, no-ones home. :-/

* The player's status will automatically switch to 'away' without the player's interference when the game server detects a certain period of inactivity. If a player opened the table and is listed as 'away' with a sufficiently prolonged inactivity (1 hour), such game table will be closed by the server. The players can also select 'away' status manually (via game lobby). They would typically do that when they are expecting a short break...
*You'll find that if you click on the heading of STATUS in the lower-left corner of the lobby, it will sort them for you by who is waiting, who is away, who is playing and .... who is idle.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
