Don't you forget names like "Franticfingers" , "Rapidchess", "casanueva", "Stopfhintern",... in your top5?
Of course its possible that they are on GC when you aren't there.

Interesting Views. Alright Pitbull, havent seen you in a while

Thanks Dnalreden, but you are winning a bit too many against me lately!

I agree with the top 5 list really, but i won't boast about i am the best.... many good players

Top 5

I don't recall Stopfhintern being a 1/0 player. So I did not even consider puttin the lad on the list. And I definitly have never seen Franticfingers. Zoki and Casanueva are better at 1/1 or 2/0. They need more time to beat my Top 5 consistantly.

PITBULL SURGE FORWARD
Posted by __pitbull___ (VIP) 30 Sep 2006 2:18am

On October 3rd I plan on putting some time and effort into regaining the "most wins" title again, as well as beat up on all the Top Twenty players. October 3rd will be the beginning of another PITBULL SURGE TO THE TOP!

How can you call yourself the best when you have a rating in the 1900's? I don't remember you ever beating me, infact you just kick me before playing. Clearly you need to have at least had a very good rating (say about 2400) before considering being the best

pitbull' ego

cmon pitbull_ _ _ _ stop rubbing yur own ego
we played i beat ya and now you avoid me well thats ok because all of the over rated players mentioned above like casanueva tinbishops aleman and so on got whupped by me. if my rank is low well that only means that i play and lose sometimes but at least i play ranked players i see all you big mouths playin the low ranks to try to up your win loss totals.

mrskin's ego

...is based on chess rules that I, at least, am not familiar with. An example is if he loses on clock during 1/0 then he has won.

[Recently, he did manage to beat me in our 2nd game, and then began propunding his grand set of rules.]

No wonder we are unable to understand mrskin's rationale for counting himself among the best.

Surge Briefing
Posted by __pitbull___ (VIP) 21 Oct 2006 3:53pm

The __pitbull___ surge has been rather successful, the only problems I have been facing is that most of the Top 10 players avoid playing me. They only play me If I happen to be ahead of them in the ladder rankings. I find it quite flattering that they fear playing me. Other then that, I have advanced to 2nd place in the Most Wins category and I have broke into the Top 10 twice. The surge continues as scheduled.

Mr Aleman gets my vote as best at 1/0

Of the regular players Mr Aleman is very hard to beat at 1/0.
He consistantly plays "solid" moves extremely quickly - and even if you get a better position he is almost impossible to beat within the time control.

At say 3/0, I actually find most of the top 1/0 players (including Mr Aleman) not so "invincible"

Hello all,

I see a lot of players posting who's the best. I could be very wrong but I know that tournament players can see the rewards of being the best that they can be by winning tix.

I will set a tourney for Saturday at 3PM GC Time.

Lets see who can be the best

Hope to See You

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
