Why do some players not accept the fact that they were beaten fair and square? I love to play pool here at GC, but don't like the fact that I get abuse from people if I beat them? Its not fair and some people don't deserve the priviledge to play here... These people know who they are..... STOP IT PLEASE !

Maybe they were expecting to be beaten ugly and trapaziodal instead?
Thank you chris for reminding me that it is indeed a privaledge to play here and that privaledge can be taken away as well. In answer to your question.....i suspect some people are just not happy with the way their underwear fit.

Some players here do not have enough manners and good grace to lose with a smile and a good wish to the opponent who beat them fair and square. This is the same in real life situations in clubs and pubs around the globe. I guess it shows that idiots abound everywhere, on gaming sites as well as in your local pool hall. Personally I consider it to be the height of rudeness to be abused for winning fair and square; but I can hold my head up high afterwards, those who abuse cannot. After all, exactly how brave do you have to be to swear and abuse someone you don't even know and will never even meet, or indeed how crazy?. It all seems to be a lot of effort to me, and rather pathetic too, a bit like a liitle kid throwing toys out of his cot when he has a temper tantrum, so to all those macho super brave people who abuse other players because they know they can get away with it, (unlike in a pool hall, where they would get a smack in the mouth), .......GROW UP AND GET A LIFE !!

While this doesn't happen to me too often, I know it happens, usually in the main hall for everyone to see. Please refer to my post "Just A Thought".
PEOPLE, ITS ONLY A GAME!!!! We have enough chaos in this world. This is SUPPOSED to be a fun time to play pool and, maybe, meet some new people. Can't we PLEASE stop the nonsense??
And, Chris, you are very right about it being a PRIVILEGE to play here. GC brought you into this pool world, they can take you out.

Some people come here to cause troubles. They find fun to make others time difficult, just because they are feeling bored. Sometimes its not about points. They like to cause troubles those so "call adults" should be start acting like one. They are like kids on the playground. Adults causing troubles, this is only a game points comes and goes. Who cares who win the game, this is a fun time that each one of us come to have. So, this so call adults please stop acting like kids. You are too old for this.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
