Let's see all players participate as much as u can. CANASTA MARATHON will run every hour with a variety of types of games depending upon TD setting. Hope you join and pass the word. For every tourney u enter u will receive one entry into a draw after the last tourney for 25 bonus tix. Anyone can win, just enter as many tournaments as u like for more chances to win. All tourneys will be 3tix to enter. GL to all and Let's have some fun!

GC is giving us a chance to get more players out and create a great environment.. Hope to see lots of Blue players over the many tournaments. Meet new people and take on the old rivals. Come try and have some fun doing it. I will make some of them. TY GC

THANK YOU GAME COLONY AND ALL TDs for a wonderful day of challenging and fun competition during the Canasta Marathon. The TDs were great in helping inexperienced tourney players as well as veteran players. GREAT JOB TDs. I think ALL PLAYERS enjoyed the opportunity to compete and additional chances to climb the ladder. I HOPE TO SEE ANOTHER CANASTA MARATHON REAL SOON!!! Thanks again. BlueSun

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
