DECEMBER 30, SATURDAY
1. 5 pm GC time.......Gin Rummy 150 pts Reg LD 10 tix
2. 730 pm GC time....Dominoes 150 Pt Setter's Choice d/e 5 tix
3. 10 pm GC time.....Canasta 5000 2-2-2 3f/w 5 tix
December 31, SUNDAY
1. 11 am GC time.....Pool 9 ball 3 pt loser breaks d/e 5 tix
2. 2 pm GC time.....Backgammon 2 pt Cr D/E 5 tix
3. 5 pm GC time Cribbage 121 reg D/E 10 tix
PLEASE REMEMBER....YOU MUST HAVE WON A TOURNEY IN NOVEMBER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY THIS TOURNEY ONLY

Again this tournament is held at the same time every month and I can never play in it. Ten pm GC time is 3 am here in the UK. Cant this tourney be altered every other month to a different time. Kind of unfair to those of us who win a tourney and cant particate in it.

Would 4p GC time be suitable to the UK players and the Aussies? for this TOC?
It's so hard to catch everyone......so please help me.....is 10 am GC time any better?

Yes that is much better for us in the UK. That would be 9pm for us. Maybe if TOC can be altered every other month would be nice. I have never been able to play in it since I joined because of the time its scheduled for. THanks.

4pm should work for North American players and UK and Europe players since it is a weekend. Maybe the early risers for Aussies can also play if they got in some tourneys during the month.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
