Starting on Feb 7, 2007 I will be hosting a canasta tourney everyday at 1:30am gc time. The tourneys will vary between 2-2-2 and 2-2-1. If I figure correctly this should be 4:30pm Australia time. Hope this helps and hope to see you all. Tell your friends

us aussies have been through this all before,i used to play in the tourney of champions then they had it on a monday aus time, very thoughtfull.some people work, this game seems to suit people who dont or unless your a american.i gave up sitting up to 1am to play a tourney and then starting work at seven,4.30 should suit the unemployed here.i am sick of people saying come on ausie we will set up a tourney for you, because then we never see another one for a month.this is why a lot of aussies wont bother with tourneys.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
