I want to apologize to my players in the 11 pm tourney - I have had to cancel the last couple of nites, because I have been really ill. My hubby and I have sent notes to Game Colony a couple hours in advance of my tourneys, and I think last night's just may have just been overlooked, as I was told it was going to be cancelled. I am so sorry for those of you that arrived ready to play, only to have it cancelled after start time - I just found out about this myself. I hope you aren't upset with me - I have been in bed for the last two days and barely able to function. I don't know if the same thing happened the night before last - this was the only time I heard of it.
I am a little better today and will be there tonight for 11 pm tourney - I hope you will be there too! Sorry for the misunderstanding last night - forgive me?

Change in plans, players - we WILL have our 11 pm tourney tonight, but Okaylady is taking over to give ma one more day to get better........be nice to her!!! (hee hee i know u will)

I AM TRYING REALLY HARD TO GET BETTER quick....THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE, AND I HOPE YOU WILL ALL RETURN TO THE 11 PM TOURNEYS - I will BE THERE!!!!! AGAIN, I AM SORRY TO HEAR SOME OF YOU ARE UPSET ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED - IT WILL not HAPPEN AGAIN LOVE U GUYS!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
