LASTING TRIBUTE

I don't know the ramifications of this but I suggest a lasting tribute to all the great players that ever play on Game Colony for some duration.
I know that at some point in time all the ladder and ALL-Time records are erased from the visible record books. I would ask Game Colony to consider writing in the program that the records be permanent for every player playing something like 1000 tournament games in a specific game for all others to notice when they check the stats page. It would be like a "hall of fame" to always be remembered. I will always wish to see GRAMPS name in the Crib records whether he is first, second or wherever as long as he and all others playing so much on GC are remembered forever for the time and money spent with their GC friends and foes, win or lose. The permanent record would be for every game (CRIB, GIN BG or whatever) that person played in at least 1000 tournaments and would be a surely honourable group of people.
Whatever space it takes would be worth it for the people that have devoted so much to the success to this site.
TY

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
