Current Best Player in Game Colony Pool at the Moment

Hello fellow pool players. I was just wondering who the leading players were in the game at the moment. There have been some fantastic players in recent years of which im sure a few still lurk around. For me personally my game has improved greatly over the past couple of years but still there are better players. Who would you say is setting the game alight at the moment.

well when i used to play with tickets with the top players like hotatlanta firefoxx GBecky and lagers so on so on it used to be very tight but then no1 saw GBecky for a while or hotatlanta or firefoxx and my old account i cant remember the password  lol my name was MX-4 and _KXZ_ or something liek but it got chanegd to EskiBoy for some reason lol... anyway i started with 5$ and ended up on 94 and a rating of 1900/2000's and cashed it all out and gave up for a few months but watch out becuase im back!!!!

I wouldnt say jazz was in the top 5. As for you Borntobea champion you remember the 3 games i won in a row the other evening? Otherwise mostother people suggestions i would agree with.

I think what makes this game draw people back (sometimes under other alias') is because there is always an element of competition so i think this thread has caught the attention of some people surely a thread like this can only be good for the game, try hard its a game of skill if you dont want to be competitive then dont get involved with the thread. Good Luck what ever your abilities but remember its a game of skill and skill can be improved with practice

Many are the good players that there been are and many to come!!!
Some of them are still here some others have to come for very long. At my first year i wasn't that good and almost all players we were like 1200 players now without skill, except some players that were good from start...
GBECKY(have to come more than year) was a nightmare for all
KIRK PENFOLD(is no more) was excellent
the second year i came much stronger and good sneak some wins from them
Then another player came to change everything in the game POOL... and thats my friend(and nighmare for too long...not now)HOTATLANTA which i think is the best
After those ORO_22 and FIREFOXX(not seen both for while) were a top class players CELTICMAN is real good...then SHANE and TWIST_TWIST have become reall good in very short time
I think MADOOLIN will agree with me(sorry if i forgot any1)
I dont mention my self cause i dont care if im 1st or 2nd or 20th... i just try to make my game stronger game by game
For me pool doesn't have infinitive skill like chess I think there is a limitation and then other factors decide the winner like good days or bad days!

how about this to find your best player,
if top 20 are in the room and idle and u invite them, they are placed in your room with no choice on 8 ball 1 pnt, and if there waiting they cant do invite only or ban player, again when someone enters its 1 pnt 8 ball, im sure that then the best players will make it to the top,........
ps i have 12 trophies for real pool has anyone got more (be honest) if not then the best pool player is ME lol

Well its gr8 to read all your thoughts and I would like to congratulate the already above mentioned players as to who is the best. I would like to say however that the true best players are the ones that don't need to be mentioned and the ones that will, regardless or rating or ladder position play any opponent that come to their open tables. Lets not forget that this game is virtual and entirely different to a real game. Enjoy the time here or find yourself in a real room and table!

Wow! Well writen! I can not agree with you more. After several days of thought.....It is my belief that the Best Player Ever, has not been mentioned and will never be mentioned. Besides, you and jtravis1964, have said what needs to be said here!

im not the best player and probebly never will be,
but having played pool in the same league for 29 years i've got winners prizes, runners up and even some third spots, but what gives me the best feeling of pride is the fact that i am known not for my trophies but for my fair play and sportmanship, there are many good sports on CGpool but alas there are also some who wouldnt know sportmanship if it hit them on the head, but still we will keep enjoying our games with each other , and to the (others) try to smile now and again when your playing you never know you might enjoy it

anyone here mentioned above can win 100 games without losing a single game if they play only beginners, so it's depend on to whom u play, if u played only beginners then not good, if u played seasoned players, then yr pretty good, that's what i think!!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
