I asked A TD at a crib tourney what were the chances of adding Pinochle to the list of games at GC. He said if enough people showed an interest in playing Pinochle it could be added. Are there any other people like myself here at GC who would like to see pinochle added? Three or four handed single deck cutthroat is my favorite. A J

I enjoy pinochle - my parents taught it to me as I was growing up...its been a long time, but I would enjoy seeing that added to Game Colony's growing list of playing opportunities for our players! Good idea! Here's another....how about euchre? I learned that years ago and never got sick of it Worth a try at least.....

My grandfather taught me Pinochle when I was about 9; he taught me cribbage first.
I prefer 2-handed, single deck, which I understand very few folks play. I have only seen 4-player (partners), double-deck (which my grandmother called racehorse) on other sites.
I will surely play Pinochle too.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
