1st. of all Mike, you have never beat me many times. I don't we ever played. And if you had beat me, i sure would have remembered it. Because i already know all the best players in the world. All you have to do is get a BLUE NAME, and name the price.........and that will end your story............

This is very difficult, even after narrowing it down to online doms, there are some many other variables, points, tixs, ladder, time, etc... I think the ladder is a good starting point. The best is simply an opinion.

If you ever notice most of the players with high ratings don't play ladder, and they are usually only good at one particular thing. Based on this I would say the rating beside your name means almost nothing.

I want to see if anyone enters this tournament. I am learning this game but interested in seeeing who thinks they belong here. Seems like the tournament's been up for a while and no one is in. Are there any takers or only talkers?

After posting 3 weeks in advance to answer the question of who is the best Dominoes player at GC and after all the banter by some doms players, we had one player take the challenge and enter the 20 TIX tournament. Since no one else came we must assume that they felt they don't belong, couldn't make a committment or any other reason, the sole servivor and thus champion if skip_to_my_lou.
skip_to_my_lou takes the first title of "Best of the Best" with no challengers to dispute that honour.
Congratulations skip and TYFC.

I would like to thank all those who made this possible. Without Ib6ub9_69, I would know how to play doms. Without Mike, I wouldn't be able to talk a good game and then fold like a lawn chair. To everyone else, thanks for being there. Stay up.

I very much wish i could play more. If you look back you can see just how often i get to play these days. I hope catch a few tournaments, so please keep them going. My thanks to the TD's who put on the tournaments. IBBACKSOONLOL.....I tryed ib6ub9_69, but.............still no takers................The Texas state partner domino tournament is 1/20/08 and my ring game partner tournament is 1/19/08. but i did tell all to let the ladder me the judge and i think thats a great way of doing it
my daugher that I adopted over 10 years ago over the age so she can turn blue and did
as you would guess she will be playing in most of my tounerys

Play dominoes tournaments online
At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
