MY DAD IS GR8 TD AND I WAS ADOPTED AT THE AGE OF 9 YEARS OLD
MY DAD SHOWED ME THE CRIBBAGE GAME ON THE BOARD ,SOME DAY I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE HIM HAVE FUN PLAYING CRIBBAGE ,SO IF YOU SEE ME IN THE CRIBBAGE ROOM YOU WILL KNOW HOW I AM.

I have been playing crib for 60m years i am 70 and learned when i was 10. A neighbor lady taught me one summer when i was on crutches with broken leg. i have always loved the game and hope you will enjoy it as well. I will look for you in the hall and maybe we can have a game or two

I watched my mum and dad play crib, as we call it in the UK, when I was about 7 or 8. I actually started playing then when I was about 17 and really started playing league crib when I was about mid 40's. It is unfortunate that there are very few youngsters coming into the game, but it is really nice when the younger element take up our sport  I am not going to wish you luck, cause that may be against me I will say all the best though and nice of you to introduce yourself.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
