Input. I am guessing but you players can tell me. When we are talking about the best Dominoes players are we only talking +5 or BLOCK/DRAW as well? If both prove to be worthy, then I will host a 20TIX BlOCK or DRAW tourney of 150 or 200 pts if demand wants it. Tell me in this forum and I can reserve monday October 29th at 9:30pm for this making it two straight to see who rates in both games. TY

It depends on how big you want to make it. I don't think it would be out of the way to do 3 or 4 different ones. 5+ 7 bone, 5+ 9 bone, block, draw. Establish the best of each game, then narrow it to one champion. I say why not.

I like blk 9 bones 200 points. Makes the game interesting.

I think Block and draw should be included. Everyone here has their own game that they are better at. So really their may be 4 or 5 people that are the best. The problem with all of this is the current lack of turnout for tournies.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
