Its been a while since we had a marathon in dominoes..how about it TD's? In gin & crib, tournies on the hour is an everyday occurance, perhaps we could adopt it here in dominos. Please? Thanks

Hi Bluetulip. Would love to host more regular Dominoes but we need more players interested. One out of every two set now are cancelled and those running have only 3 or 4 players. Not sure if dominoes players are interested or we have the wrong times or settings.
Trying HR claim to be the best two tournaments on October 31st and friday November 1st. Smaller tournaments would be great if we can attract the players. Pass the word to support those now posted and we will pass the word to TDs. GL

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
