The ladder is designed to give everyone the fair chance of rising to the top possiyions and working with their schedules and shortcomings to play everyone with-in a sporting time ..It's very explicite in the rule ,,a person is not required to take the chance of losing his/her possition after working on a regular basis of coming in and playing honestly to gain it ...The ladder is a month long event ,,, and all you that make it a feeding frenzy at the end of the month cause all the turmoil .. so maybe you all should take another look at the rules ,, I myself have learned them the hard way .. P.S. for thiose that need to know ,,,i have a vision impairment and can only go for a few games at a time before taking a chat break or just leaving ,, This behavior leeds to people thinking i'm ignoring them or not reading their text .. Not so ,,just catch me as i came back in.. anyway ,,,I wish all a good New Year and pray for peace ,,ty

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
