Im not involved too much in the ladder Gary cant keep up or even get close to it, but its supposed to be a fun game where u meet people along the way and enjoy the social side too. I dont have time for fairweather friends and sometimes, when watching from the side lines, the *ladder* situation seems to encourage a few of those thankfully not many. I have been turned down for a game many a time due my ladder being where it is !! why ? We all have to climb somehow.
Thank you for including me.
Continue to enjoy the game Gary and your friends along the way. J.

Ty gary for naming me as one of the friends you have made. Intrestingly enough we have similar circles of friends and I enjoy playing pool with you regardless of the countless time I have been beaten by you or anyone else. Caroline

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
