Seems to me lately that the rude players are coming out of the wall. It would be nice to get on Gamecolony, play a few games to relax (for fun)without smart remarks and rude people.

I agree. I had a period or slowness with my computer or mouse, and it was "Play Play Whats taking so long" I enjoy a little chat when playing also.

I totally agree with you Linda It makes it enjoyable to come and play with nice friendly players who enjoy the game and the sport and challenge and also the social chit chat. There are some wonderful people on here and it is a pleasure to play them unfortunately the demanding rude players only become ruder and more demanding and dont learn that pleasantness goes a long way. Do unto others as you would like to be treated is a great quote. You are always a pleasure to play with.

Phoenix...you are probably one of the most pleasant people I have ever played...not only do you enjoy playing the game, but have sure taught me alot about the game...keep up the pleasantness, and thank you for the kind remarks

yes its great to come on and play and have fun....yet like trish1949 said, its a pain when your comp plays up and people want you to hurry up, gee, not my fault my comp is slow. When it does play up I usually warn them that it is slow so they cannot have a go at you. And remember, it is only a game; keep smiling it makes people wonder what you have been up to!!!!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
