Speaking of rudeness... why do people ban you when you have never played them? If they only want to play certain players maybe they should do an invite only game. As a new member to game colony I find it extremely rude to go to a table only to be banned before I even have a chance to play.

well quentin I have a solution for you when you start new you should play with player same rating as you this way you would not be banned so often sometimes when you want to play a player higher rated he would ban you because he working hard at bringing his rated score up so he plays with same rated as he is so try this and see if its better

Being kicked off a table can be very upsetting, but high rated players lose a large portion of thier rating when they lose to a much lower rated player. The win loss margin is not so much when players play people near the same rating. The Ban also works for players who get harrassed by others who are bent on being rude. GC is getting better all the time... Happy Gaming JulieJay

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
