I'VE BEEN PLAYING ON THIS SITE FOR ALMOST 7 YEARS AND I'M AMAZED HOW MANY PLAYERS NOW JUST ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR RATING. I'VE WON OVER A 150 TOURNAMENTS AND HAVE AS GOOD OF WINNING PERCENTAGE AS JUST ABOUT ANYBODY BUT WILL STILL PLAY A PERSON WITH A LOWER RATING. DOES IT BOTHER ANYBODY ELSE? HOW ABOUT EVERYONE JUST BE WILLING TO PLAY A FRIENDLY GAME OF CRIBBAGE!!!!

i am almost an original player ...i like the game and enjoy playing "MOST" players.... i agree there are some snobs who just dont get the game.........rating/ladder bluebie/$ or not ...its just a game.....lets have FUN!!!!!! thx for your input your friend, kymb (kim)

Have you heard the saying Live & Let Live"? Who cares that some are into ratings or rankings? Do your own thing, have fun, enjoy the games. If players are into ratings that's their concern. I'm just an average player and rate less than 1500. It doesn't bother me, I just like to play.

If you are not a tix player, it means nothing to have a 'high' rating, and it really means nothing to a tix player either. The only thing that matters is the ladder which a non-tix player will never get high on anyway. All you high rating players become tix players and show us all your game!!

why doesn't Game Colony add an option that allows players to choose how many games they would like to play an each match???????????

i became high as number 3 when i wasnt a bluebie...so actually it can happen!!!! but lets all just have fun and play crib...your friend kymb (kim)

I agree with Jethro. It would be hard to win ladder without going in tournaments. And the high ratings mean absolutely nothing to me unless their name is in blue.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
