Yesterday, I had surgery to reattach my rt distal biceps tendon to its radial tuberosity. ruptured it moving a piano at church.
Have to play left handed. Not so good with mouse in left hand at the desk top puter. laptop's touch pad will take some getting used to, especially when dbl clk wont move cards to pile. Have to clik with left finger cursor with left thumb.
plus internet quirky lately. haven't figured it all out yet.
please be patient. I need the canasta for relaxing and pasdsing the time for 8 week recovery of rt arm. actually in a week they'll want me to start working fingers. GC canasta will be therapy.
I've been harped on by a few for slow play. Hating to rain on ones day, i thought some explaination would alleviate
have a good day, whitesall (steve)

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
