Hi, Could someone please host some 2 canasta tournaments. prefer early mornings. They used to be played here 5000 3f/w. Some of us old fashioned ones prefer the old 2 canasta Thanks. Alan

I will be most happy to run some early morning canasta. Let me know what is popular, what special times and do you mean 5000, 2-2-2 3f/w? I would love to hear from any player on opinions or requests. Means red threes freeze the pile and /w means with wild canastas (may or may not use the wilds to make canastas) just another option
and of course the 5000 is the pt value to be accrued and 2-2-2 is 2 canasta tourney (the last 2) but most players know these already

I up for 222 in the morning.

What do you mean by morning? I am in USA Eastern Time. I only play 222 games, so there should be an even mix of 221 and 222 tourney's.

Hi Thanks so much for your response. By early mornings I mean between 6 and 9 am Gamecolony time. And tournaments to 5000 2 2 2 3f/w would be great or even to 4000. There used to be a lot of these. Or I can sometimes if work is slow make it around 7 pm as that is my morning. definately on weekends I can do that time. I would really appreciate any you can put up. Thanks.

I have posted canasta tourneys on the 21st. Starting at 7, 9 nad 11 am gc time. Hope some will be aable to make some of them. Thank you for being a part of the fun games at GC. spicii

Thank you very much for making the tournaments. I was coming to both of them gc friday morning , due to a tad much beverage at a mates bbq I was not able to make them - that was my friday night. I will definately make any you can do in the future. Thanks again. Alan

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
