Whats happened???...forced out or just plain bored of no competition? It was terribly exciting for a while despite ups and downs and it brought people in and created an interest. Now? snoozeville. Any ideas? I know ur all thinking the same.

I've been trying to get some tourneys going here, but I'm not sure what to do to get the players to show up. If anyone has any specific tourney requests ... now is your opportunity to share them. I'm willing to put whatever you want. Tourney play is really exciting, you get to play the best games and ... maybe even walk away with some extra tix. So .... what's it gonna take??????

Maybe this will work.

How about a 125(9)+5 D/E tourney every tuesday and thursday same time for the month. 125 goes fast and might get new players trying it for 3 or 4 tix. I will play when I can.

I've got two DE's in for next week ... let's see how those go and then we'll try to do them on a regular basis.
Let me know your thoughts. Maybe one should be a block? Or we could do block every other week.

I can put some in earlier ... I can't in the 4-6 GC time, but tell me what works for you all and you'll see them there. You want Block Double Elims?

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
