Giving Thanks
Posted by Joker (TD) 25 Nov 2009 6:38pm

A celebration started many years ago, the settlers to the new world gathered to give thanks for the blessings they had received. They came together in fellowship and enjoyed a grand feast.
But I, have a THANKSGIVING every day of my life for I have been truely blessed.
I have 3 loving children all grown up.
I've had 8 grandchildren, 7 that are living and close, with 2 of them living with me.
I have a wonderful wife that puts up with me.
I've fought in a war and returned.
I have food to eat, clothes to wear, and a warm home to live in.
I've walked this earth now for nearly 60 years.
I've got great friends.
I've been truely blessed.
So extra special, do I give thanks on this day but give thanks every day of my life.
So to each and everyone of you, I wish for even more than what I've received.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
