It's mostly the same people in the top twenty ladder. Take a look back at last year and the final 20 at the end of each month and many are the same every month. There is room for only one at #1, and #2 is for the first place loser. Ladder is not only about skill, but also about being in the right place at the right time! Ladder and rating should be separated, for they have nothing to do with each other!!! If the top twenty are mostly the same players each month, then why do you guys complain so much, this isn't grade school, so why act like it. Last month's number one deserved to be #1 for they understood the rules put forth by GC ( by the way, its the same rules as everyone else uses ya know. This site is great, it brings a gamer to the world, where else can you say you just played someone from across the world in your living room? Let those who live in glass houses be the first to throw stones!

Well said. It has been refreshing to hear people say positive comments and bring a bit of cheer and reminding people of the fun we can have here. GC put forth a great site and ladder for challenge and rating to go for as well.

Well stated especially the last sentence.Them that complain the most are the ones who will not play players below them,especially at the end of the month.

Whipped cream and cherries mainly if you ask me. I was at top at end of last month ( How I don't know, my skillz are shaky at best) and I did try to play everyone who asked and as often as possible. Will everyone ever be happy, doubt it, lets try to have fun...it truly is a game and I for one really enjoy laughing with most of you goobers, rating..ladder...is that really what it is all about, maybe for some. Lets try picking straws to determine who will start at top spot...no, that wont work. How about....no..Im out of ideas. Hey, have a great day everyone. (except those I don't like ofcourse, just kidding)

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
