What's your game?

All the TD's (Tournament Directors) here at GC would like to know what your game preferences are. Do you prefer low tix tourneys or a high tix thrown in there every once in awhile? Block or 5+? I know that Blondie66UK requested some earlier tourney to accommodate our players on the other side of the pond .... and I'm happy to say you will be seeing them. Without your input we don't know what to set. You'll see a lot more 1 and 2 tix tourneys in the future and we hope to see a lot more players joining us. Please give us your feedback.
Thanks, Pearle

My game is 100pt/blk. I like the that you are showing keen interest and are posting regular tournaments, but I still wish there were more. I am somewhat surprised and a little bit disappointed on the players' participation or lack thereof. I would like to see greater turnouts at the tourneys and I am pleased to see that your taking all necessary steps to improve player participation.

My personal prefference on the timing is 7:30PM or later on weekdays and 10PM or later on the weekends.

Hi Pearle

My gamne is block. Just echoing everyone else, it's great to see an interest in getting more tourneys and would be great if there could be some around 4pm est (9pm U.K) but I know that might not be popular with the majority so would be happy for later tourneys if that's the case.

Cheers

Yves

one of the national games in england is very similar to ur 5s but is actualy 5s & 3s. To score, each end added together must divide by a 5 or 3 the first one too exactly 121 or 61 is the winner and it must be exactly 121 or 61 the game can be played by2 peeps and 9 doms each or by 4 peeps with 7 doms each with two peeps in partership. The longer game is more social. If u do not already have the rules I could e/mail them to u given an addy. regards dec1

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
