We can accomodate more ... the setting is by the pool to begin with with special avocado dip and nibblies... entrees set down by the pool as well of asparagus wraped in bacon and grilled and special meat balls with sauce...... by then all the wine is gone and we need to send for reinforcemnts...... which then means more meetin with us as we are all unable to drive ..... main meal of good old roast chicken in roast vegetables and steamed vegetables and amazing gravy ...... by then we are all unbuttoning tight belts to allow for dessert and coffee and schnapps..... we by then need home help to do the dishes as we are all unable to move from our wonderful table set up for lots of games of canasta and many laughs .....

Come join the fun Pauline u r always welcome. U nic have no understanding of fun and comradship amongst friendly players. Yr loss. Yr words are always negative about anyone and everthing here. Okay Canasta friends ... wouldnt it be great to meet and play canasta in real life for days, laughing and joking and having a great time.. we could not blame anyone for our bad run of cards then lol do we keep to 1 card pick up as in real life i was taught or we keep to GC 2 card pick up ?????

Do you know, anything IS possible here - I should know, I crossed the Atlantic to marry someone I met on GC, and have met another card player in person. Who knows, maybe one day............

It goes without saying that you would of course be coming and doing some of the cooking you are famous for i am sure there would be lots of smiles and laughter ... There is a great fun crew we have here who are wonderful friends and it is good to chat and joke and laugh and we have seen the wonderful support and reaching out with support and well wishes for any going through tough times. It is special the close friendships and bonds we have formed. and it would be an absolute ball all sitting around in person and it makes you smile even thinking about it even if it does not happen .. but .. who knows what can happen...

It does happen, and did, six canasta players got together in Louisiana for a 3 day weekend,some came with families, 2 suites at a holidome, lots of playing,eating, drinking.and forming lasting friendships.NOT ONE PERSON WAS FAKE and so many games played, with many differant rules...so if any players have the chance....DO IT...

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
