Linda,

We are waiting for the arrival of a little baby girl. Abby is due on Sept 9, but it won't be that long. The stitch comes out next week, and then it could be any day after that. Hope everything is good for you and that it's not quite as hot in Ohio as it has been in South Carolina. We are approaching 40 days in a row now where it "feels" like over 100, but luckily have only had a few of those where it really was. I don't get here often these days, but I too miss catching up with all my canasta buddies. Hope to see you here the same time as me 1 day soon.

Tom

Tom, I am so thrilled to death to hear that news, I knew God would bless you again after what you and your wife went through. You are a dear friend of mine and Abby is going to be a very lucky little girl to have parents that will "spoil" her rotten, please keep me updated on when the new bundle arrives. As far as the weather, it has been in the 90's and 100's for almost 1 1/2 months now, its an unusually hot summer here, but I will take it
Rosie, I miss you as well, I work so much anymore I dont have time to get on here...but did want all you guys to know how much I miss all you guys

Hi Linda,

Just wanted to let you know that my little baby girl, Abby, arrived this past Friday August 27. She weighed in at 8 lbs 9 ounces and 19 inches long. She gave us a brief scare when she was born with the cord around her neck and not breathing right away, but before the NICU staff could get to the room, all was fine and well and she is perfectly healthy.

Hope to see you here soon.

Tom

Congrats

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
