A min or two break

Some TD's start sounding the "where are you" tone 15 seconds after they post your next match. I for one like to stretch maybe grab a glass of water and sit down and then play. I do not want to feel as if I am on an assemply line. You wait 5 min here 2 min there. a min break between matches is not asking to much.

Thank You

Thank you for you input. We, as TDs try to keep the tourneys running as smoothly as possible. I for one, am guilty of buzzing the players after allowing a little time if the table is not set. Most players don't want to wait, a min or two in-between games. However, there are times when a break is needed, such as the loo, no one can control when you have to goooo. I have found that when players need a break in-between games, they will tell the TD, example, brb, need drink, etc, and if you need a little more time, please let the TD know in advance, and I'm sure that might clear up any problems. But we try to keep the tourneys rolling along as smooth as possible. There are times, which happen to everyone, such as losing connections, or needing to reboot that occur, which are rarer these days, but yet they do unexpectedly happen. So to respond to your concern, just take a brb, as fast as you can in order to keep the tourney on schedule as best as possible. Please remember that the other players don't like the wait, as I stated before. And since we all have lives outside of Game Colony, unexpected things do happen. But perhaps a short BRB might be your answer. Thanks for playing Bathwater...

Thanks "OK" for a suggestion that will work. You are a classy lady by trying to make both sides needs answered.
I like KymB thoughts especially referring to me as her friend...lol. Yes when I hear the call to set or join the table I think of the 2 min clause.
I can always turn of my speakers off, except I would miss the classy tunes being played by the TD's. LOL

Thanks all.
Brian

I for one agree with lady, usually players complain about having to wait too long between games. I have been playing here since 2001. Best game website I have found. TD's are polite and always friendly. You have a 5 min break to get back to your game, actually is longer. Sometimes a TD has 15-20 players in a game. Trust me it's hard work hosting.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!. According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!).   The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
