I wish more players would attend the tourneys. Furthermore, I hope we can have them more frequently. I know that the TDs, in an effort to ensure greater player turnout, have certainly mixed it up, but sadly, mostly in vain.

You are correct, this needs to change, but its not the TD's fault that not enough players show up and support the tourneys, it's the players fault this time. I know that Pearle has tried her best to get these tourneys going, as she has offered them.......BUT they are cancelled due to lack of support.......talk to your bones pals and get themn coming.....I'm sure that if the players will support the tourneys, they will be offered more often....It takes the td at the least 35 min of their time before a tourney, to offer a tourney, and then a cancel....I'm sure its VERY discouraging to them....

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
