There have been many people talking about heading to Reno in February for the largest cribbage tournament in the US (and maybe the world). I was thinking that I would love to meet some of you folks in person that are going. Let me know if that is something that you would be interested in doing.

I believe JetroTull is referring to the ACC Open & TOC that is held every February at the Sands-Regency in Reno. This is the world's largest cribbage tournament with approximately 1000 peggers expected. This year the ACC Open & TOC run will be 02/11/2011-02/13/2011.
There will be a gathering of ACC Internet players during the ACC Open & TOC in Reno. This gathering will take place immediately following the Main event qualifying round on Saturday, Feb 12 (approx 4:30 pm) and wiltake place in the Pipeline Lounge at the Sands.
All internet players in attendance are invited to the gathering.
Please see the ACC website (www.cribbage.org) for additional information about the ACC Open and TOC.

The get-together for ACC Internet Players has been changed to Friday @ 6:30 pm and it will be in Dynasty B. There will be a satellite event for those who play on the internet. I will see you there unless I am still playing in the TOC.
See ya there

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
