hi all, as late i have had some players complain about starting times in crib, please be aware that all td's have rules that they have to follow,
if a player is late coming td's should give that player 2 mins to take there place in lobby, then after 2 mins they can then remove player from tourney and get the tourney started.
for tourneys with 3 players td's should wait upto 5 mins before wta is asked.(i norm wait 2 mins before asking wta)
i'm sorry to all that have to wait around at times, but we are only following the rules given to us, some players at times do have problems getting into rooms, so to give them a chance we have these rules. please bear with us, we are only trying to do our job.
happy cribbing HAPPYCHAP
2 Mins isn't too much to ask

In the "old" days ... we used to start the tourney with the missing player and put them on the clock ... the clock "back then" was 10 mins .... so think about how much this has improved. I know for a fact that even when I play, I have encountered some trouble with my computer and getting into the room and I'm grateful for those "2" minutes that people had to wait for me. Now if a certain player is abusing that "2" minute window ... well ... that's another story for another post. Just learn to be patient ... Life doesn't always start on time!

i think all torneys should start on time it is unfair 2 players who are on time 2 have 2 wait 4 ignorant people who abuse the 2 min wait time if all tornys started on time it would be fair 2 all it would stop the abuse and save a lot of time
if we have 10 players and wait 2 min that equals 20 min

WOLVERINE IT IS NOT MEANT THAT WE WAIT 2 MIN ER PLAYER WE WAIT 2 MIN TOTAL UNTIL 2 AFTER THE HOUR IF TEN PLAYERS ARE LATE IT IS STILL 2 MIN SO OTURNIES WILL NORMALLY SART BETWEEN 2 AN DTHREE AFTER IF PLAYERS ARE LATE OR MISSING I SAY 3 AFTER BECAUS EIT TAKES A MINUTE TO OUT A LAYER AND TO SET PAIRINGS THERE ARE TIMES WHEN TOO MANY PALYERS TRY TO GET INTO ROOM AT THE SAME TIME AND IT BECOMES HARD FOR ALL.

2 times 10 equal 20
10 players times 2 minutes equal 20 minutes playing time lost

the only way 2 stop the abuse is start all tornys on time then it is fair 2 all
the only way 2 stop the abuse of the 2 minute wait time is start all tornys on time then it would be fair 2 all

many of the TDs take there time putting the clock on the missing players when the clock hits ooo time left to enter no more players should be able to enter the tournament. The tds let them and that eats up time then the tds say we are waiting on so and so which eats up more time. When the time left to enter hits 000 that is the time the 2 min's should start and no other players should be able to enter after the clock hits 000

THE PLAYERS NEED TO REALIZE THAT THE TD'S ARE VOLUNTEERS AND WE ARE HUMAN. WE DO THE VERY BEST WE CAN TO SATISFY ALL PLAYERS AND MAKE THE EXPERIENCE HERE AT GC FUN FOR ALL.

Please can we all try to respect the Start times and esp the the TDs.It is a game and without the TDs there would be NO tournys.Just like life 98% of players are great on here, lets not let the 2% dictate and spoil our enjoyment.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
