WTG AND CONGRATS TO OUR NEWEST "QUALIFIED" WINNERS:

To all Backgammon players:
I will be will be hosting the 3 PT/CR SE - 5 tix - Tournament of Champions (TOC) for May at 4PM, Saturday, June 4, 2011.
To qualify for the TOC, you need win only one Backgammon tourney from now thru May 31st.
Winners will be added thru May 31, 2011, and I will be placing a "sign-up" link in the message section at the bottom left of the “Player’s Corner” page.

P.S. In paying tribute to the monthy TOC winners, the TOC winner will have “full bragging rights” until the next TOC winner. And to show further respect for a “job well done,” I will acknowledge the TOC winner each time he/she enters the BG lobby and plays in my BG tourneys.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
