Randy lives in the major flooding area of Tropical Storm Lee, and has been without power for 4 days with the prospect of at least 3 or 4 more days, so of course can't join his canasta friends or accept challenges. They were unable to even leave their home until today, but the water is starting to recede so will be able to replenish supplies etc. Please keep them and all concerned in prayer.
Thanks for the Prayers

Just got a chance to wash my hair for the first time in 4 days. - feels great. We are without both power and water - likely not coming back until at least Tuesday. I may be on occasionally but not for long. See you all toward the end of the week.

Hi Adamsdad, I pray for the relief of the water and all the other problems created by the hurricane. Just you, family and all others affected by this disaster, be safe and well, will see you when you return. Hugs, Spicii

Well, we have water back now as of yesterday morning. The newspaper says we should get electric later today but am not holding my breath - they have to rebuild the substation and my house is at the end of the coverage area.
Thanks for all the prayers. Many in my area in a lot worse shape than my family so we are grateful for what we have and all my good friends here.
Randy

Play canasta tournaments online
At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
