you know there are pages of past posts that say the same thing over and over. GC could easily do a top ten from this. With this begin said, if one has never played before they certainly could get a feel for how things are done. Yes some rules have changed through the time, but there are no rules about playing only at the end of the month, nor playing just tourneys, this place is afterall a for profit venture so unless you name is MyUncleOwnsGC you can enjoy the game (it is a game afterall) or play somewhere else (that choice it seems would put you in the minority for this is the best site for these games). I did want to CAP some WORDS so I as well seem powerful like other posts  ) If you play me, fine, if not who cares, I might say GG I might boot you for creaming me, love it or leave it.

According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
