It's been a while since any TD has posted a DE canasta tourney. 2500 221 w/3f makes a nice DE tourney for five tickets to make it interesting. How about it TDs? Thanks, BlueSun

Blue Sun, and I did offer a D/E this week and it was a cancel. I understand that you are only able to play on the weekends, so will try to offer another as soon as my schedule allows. It does make for a fun tourney, so I hope others will join the fun too!!!!!

After 5 pm so working folks, like me, can play? I noticed DE tourney the other day but during working hours on a weekday.
Many players can't play then.
Sigh...........

Great to see a DE tourney, but a DE tourney for 222 takes a LONG TIME.
Generally I've found players don't like the long wait for 222 DE.
It would be nice to have a 2500 or 3000 221 3f/w DE like I originally suggested in this post.
Generally these are quick games, and players don't have to wait so long for their next games.
Maybe a TD could try that?
That is what I requested to at least try.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Any players out there have any thoughts on this?

I have posted 3 d/e's in all time zones, and 2 of them you could have played, but only 1 was a go. All we can do is post them. Sorry if you are unable to join.

I HAVE POSTD SEVERAL OF THESE IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS IN MARCH AND TONIGHT I ALSO HAD ONE THAT HAD BEEN ON THE SCHEDULE SINCE 4AM THIS MORNING EST. ONLY ONE PLAYER SHOWED FOR THE 6PM ON FEBURARY 26...

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
