End of the Month Tourneys

TDs..... For many months now, on the last day of the month and the first day of the next month, you have posted tourneys almost hourly. And, not since Dec. have those days fell on a Sat. & Sun. like this month when players who work during the week--like me and many others---could participate. And Now THIS MONTH ---NO TOURNEYS like that during the day for us players who work during the week.
I have ALWAYS stated my opinion in this Forum....and, quite honestly, it seems that tourneys are scheduled for the convenience of some....and not for others--especially at the end of the month.
Also, note, at end of Dec. when flurry of tourneys scheduled on weekend day---who was number one for the month? It gave someone else a chance to be number one.....because the players who work during the week could participate in that final day round of tourneys. Anyway, I'm sure everyone will scream about that.... I just call them like I see them. Maybe next time the end of the month falls on a weekend day there will be tourneys scheduled like there are when the end of the month falls on a week day.
Fair is fair.
And, quite frankly, there's nothing fair about the fact there are not end of the month tourneys scheduled today and tomorrow like there normally is when these days fall on a weekday.
Of course, I also think that since I am willing to speak out about things, that this does not make me the most popular player.
It smells of favoritism.

I'M SORRY YOU FEEL THAT WAY BLUESUN. I AM STILL A BIT WET BEHIND THE EARS BUT I CAN DO MY BEST TO ADD A FEW TOURNEYS ON THE WEEKENDS FOR ALL THE WORKING CANASTA PLAYERS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN A RESPONSE WHAT TIMES WOULD WORK BEST.

HATS OFF to TDS who posted tourneys this morning, espcially Spicii who hung in there with three WTA tourneys.

The early morning tournies on the 1st of the month are assigned by the GC administration. I Was assigned the 6am and 7am this month.
I did not see you for the early mornings on the first. I did 2 tournies and spicii did 3. On Saturday morning, March 31st I produced a 7 am and 8am...That afternoon I did a 5, 6, and 7pm tourny with no one showing for the 7pm. I saw you for one of those tournies. On the 30th I sucessfully had 5 tournies several in the evening during the suggested times you requested. We all try to respond to all player requests and none of us has "favorites". I can assure you we all feel sorry you feel the way your post suggests.

I was talking about after 7am on Saturday until the afternoon...at 5. There were no tourneys at that time on the last day of the month. And, at 6 & 7 am on Saturday morning I was sleeping in....I am at work at 7:30 EVERY MORNING Monday through Friday, so forgive me if I don't make a 6 or 7 am tourney on a Saturday.
My point was there were no tourneys from 8 until 5 on Saturday, the last day of the month. When the last day of the month is on a weekday, there are tourneys scheduled all morning and sometimes ALL day long....But not this month when the last day was on a weekend day.
And, I do have a life. On Saturday night I had a date..... On almost every Sunday morning, I go to church. So, excuse me for not making most Sunday morning tourneys. And, THERE WERE NO TOURNEYS on Saturday, March 31st between 7 am and 5 pm.
Why was that?
Some particular players couldn't make those tourneys??????
So they were NOT set?
That's my point because there have been being tourneys all day long the last day of the month--when it falls on a weekday, and all morning long til noon (like this month) on the first....but this month the last day was not like that.
Anyway, I am THROUGH WITH THIS.

But please remember ... the TD's are all volunteers, and we are always looking for new TD's to join the team to offer more tourneys for all our players. Anyone interested? Let me know. GL playing!!!!!!

as pearl said the tds are volunteers... be thankful there is any tourneys.. u want more tourneys maybe u should use for free time and make more since u think there is not enough during the times u r on.. if u made some tourneys it would solve the problem..
