After a long struggle with illness our much loved GR8 passed away at 5:20A.M. on Easter Sunday morning. Jerry was one of our first TDs and considered us his second family. He loved GameColony, the tds and the players. Tonya asked me to give you all her phone number in case you'd like to call. She said she'd be pleased to have your memories of Jerry. If you would like to post, I'll copy and mail those post to her. Thank you.

Already posted in Cribbage, but it feels so unfinished................Jerry was one of life's really nice people. So many of us here will feel his loss terribly. See you for a game when you feel up to it Tonya. My thoughts are with you.

In the short time that I knew Gr8 I have only the fondest thoughts of him . We did enjoy a few laughs together . My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife and family. Darlene

I've been out of town a few days, and I just got back last night. I didn't know that Gr8 had passed.
He was a super TD, and I really enjoyed chatting with him.
He will be Gr8ly missed at GameColony.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I havent read the forum for ages so only just heard the sad news. GR8 was a lovely guy and a great TD. He will be missed here and my thoughts are with you Tonya.

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
